The Back Bay is home to many sky scraping buildings and Liberty Mutual just recently filed a rendering of their latest plan and addition to the Back Bay’s skyline. It is going to be a 22 story headquarters for the successful insurance firm. With 590,000 sq. ft. of commercial office space on the corner of Berkeley Street & Columbus Avenue. Also Liberty Mutual is redeveloping another building adjacent to this address, at 330 Stuart Street, they enquired that building back in 2004. They will also be adding more construction to their current building at 30 St. James Avenue. This is a said to be a $300M project that will benefit a lot of workers as its estimated to open up over 500 construction jobs as well as another 600 full time jobs.
