An optimistic Tom Kunz, CEO of Century 21, appeared on CNN the other day discussing the current real estate market. Century 21 is the world’s largest real estate company, operating in 68 countries and employing over 130,000 agents. Kunz pointed out a positive trend in the real estate market, saying that as the economy is rebounding, they are receiving more offers on certain properties and their overhead is reducing. But despite the recent increase in demand, it is still very much a buyers market. Although prices are not dropping as fast as they were, they still are dropping considerably.
